Excipients Insight - June 2008 |

 Dear Members,
With summer just around the corner, it is likely that many of you have already packed for a well deserved holiday break. But before you head off, I am pleased to share with you some of the recent developments concerning excipients in June, and provide follow-up on some of the subjects key to IPEC Europe.
We had a very successful TriPEC meeting in Portland, with great interaction between IPEC Europe and our sister organisations JPEC and IPEC Americas. We agreed on a set of global priorities, including the development of a certification scheme for excipients and the completion of essential guidelines such as excipient qualification.

Welcome to the new IPEC Europe newsletter, which has been re-designed to provide informative, attractive and timely updates on our work to members and non-members alike. While much of the content will be familiar, the new format will provide information in more depth, and include some additional elements such as feature articles, industry updates and scientific developments. To that end, don’t hesitate to submit articles on technology or regulatory developments that are in the public domain.
