Annual IPEC Europe Seminar & General Meeting 28-29 January 2010, Cannes - France

The Annual IPEC Europe Seminar brings together users, manufacturers, distributors of excipients and regulators to discuss excipients' challenges.

On 28 January 2010, the Seminar "Taking Excipients into the Next Decade" will concentrate on where excipients and industry are going. It will be designed around four sessions:

  • Pharmacopoeias,
  • Supply Chain,
  • Quality by Design,
  • Risk Management.

On 29 January 2010, IPEC Europe members will gather for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to define IPEC Europe's objectives and share expectations for 2010.

The Seminar and AGM will be held at the Gray D'Albion Hotel in Cannes (France).

Quality by Design (QbD)

A list of Q&As relating to excipients in the context of QbD and development of pharmaceutical dosage forms was put together following the brainstorming meeting of interested IPEC Europe member companies held in March 2009. As QbD is still very much in its infancy at this time, the list is intended to be a living document and will be reviewed in light of experience and development.
