The Compendial Compliance Committee invites IPEC Europe members to join a free, interactive webinar focused on one of today’s key challenges: managing multicompendial requirements for pharmaceutical excipients.
In this session, participants will explore the results of a recent industry survey on pharmacopeial methods. The findings highlight current practices, common issues, and where alignment across pharmacopeias remains difficult.
The webinar will also introduce the Committee’s updated best practice document on executing a multicompendial compliance strategy.
This Best Practices document aims to standardise company procedures for compliance with pharmacopoeias, minimizing redundant testing for excipient attributes. Its seven-step process helps select a single test method to meet requirements across multiple pharmacopoeias while maintaining quality and safety.
In the final part of the webinar, participants will be able to apply the steps in a hands-on session, and exchange views directly with Committee experts.
